The Law Office specialises in family law cases, in particular in divorces. The Law Office runs divorce cases before the Sąd Okręgowy (Regional Court) in Poznań, as well as on request of the Client, before other Regional Courts outside Poznań. Thanks to the cooperation with other law offices, chambers and solicitor’s offices, as well as with notaries and consultative enterprises in the country and abroad, the Law Office ensures complex legal service adjusted to the needs of specific orders. Family law cases are run by lawyer Maciej Wąsiewicz.

The scope of the cases run by the Law Office includes in particular:

  1. cases for divorce and separation,
  2. property cases (in particular, division of common property, matters connected with marriage settlements),
  3. cases connected with spousal and child support,
  4. cases concerning parental authority,
  5. cases connected with parentage of a child,
  6. cases connected with adoption, custody and guardianship.

Depending on the Client’s needs:

  1. we give legal advise, which includes in particular provision of information regarding court cases (divorce), i.e. connected with bringing a case to the court, conducting a court case and submitting motions as to evidence in a court case (divorce),
  2. we take orders for preparation of a suit or petition,
  3. we take orders for running a court case.

Maciej Wąsiewicz – Legal Adviser, a graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration, the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań where he studied law; a scholar at the Faculty of Law, University of Leuven in Belgium. During his scholarship, he dealt, among others, with European Civil and Social Law, Church-State Relations. He gained his theoretical and practical knowledge at educational centres in Poland and abroad. For a number of years, he conducted seminars and lectures on Civil Law and Economic Property Insurance Law at the Faculty of Law the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań and Poznań University of Technology. He is the author of some publications in the field of Civil Law. He specialises in Family, Civil and Adjective Law. His command of English is fluent.
